Whenever you enter a department store and they have perfume counters, the first thing that hits you are the various scents emanating. It may smell heavenly and you may be tempted to try one or two or even end up buying. Perfumes are a wonderful invention. Whoever discovered the first perfume must be given due credit. Today so many kinds of perfumes are available in different brands. Even celebrities seem to be creating perfumes named after them these days. And of course, we the consumers are happy to use them and sometimes quite liberally too.
We all have different tastes and likes and that extends to our choice of perfumes too. Some people may prefer the light floral scents while others may love the strong and powerful scents. We all love to smell nice but the problem is that in the process of wanting to smell nice, some people go overboard in applying the perfume in their body. Especially if the scent of the perfume is extremely strong and the person wearing it has sprayed tons of it.
It’s great to want to smell nice but at the same time we must be aware that it should not be a source of irritation to others. Very often people think the more perfume you put, the better it is. That is not true. It might be a cause of headache to the other people around you. This is especially true if you’re in a confined place with little or no source of air.
So the next time you are going out and you’re holding that bottle of perfume in your hand, remember less is more. Always try to spray as little perfume as you can especially if the scent of your perfume is very strong. You don’t want to irritate other people around you because of the smell of your perfume.
